Historical pictures go on display at centre

These wonderful images have gone on display at the centre.

The pictures from different decades are on display at Bangor Street Community Centre, Blackburn and feature a religious march from 1989 and Diwali celebrations from 1992.

A further picture features two centre users who were pictured in 1991 using the kitchens.

Iqbal Bhai, centre Manager said, “It has certainly has got a lot of people interested. People who visit the centre regularly as well as new attendees have stopped to read the captions and ask questions of the pictures. It is good to celebrate how the centre has changed over the years.”
